Soccer & Gymnastics

Madison has started gymnastics on Wednesdays and soccer starts next week. Madison and Logan both will be playing soccer this fall in the Upward Soccer league at the baptist church down the road. They are both every excited for practice to start (at least for now).

School has started!

Madison has finished her first two weeks of school and really enjoys it. The only downside is that school starts at 7:45. Last year, school did not start till 9am in NJ. She has meet several new friends in her class and on the school bus. Shawn and Logan are settling into their routine of taking Madison to school, going to the gym, running errands, etc. Logan will start preschool after Labor Day and he will go three days a week.

Jammin' with the family

On our last trip to Knoxville, we spent part of the evening enjoying Guitar Hero with the entire Brown family. Let's just say, we are all musically challenged. I think Logan only hit 2 or 3 people while trying to play the drums.

Emma and Houston came to visit

The Ramsey's came last weekend to visit and we all had a great time. Since we moved to NJ, we have not gotten to spend much time with them. The girls didn't miss a beat and Logan was very excited to have Houston to play with. I do believe that Houston enjoyed the trains more than anything. Kristi and I enjoyed a day of childless shopping at the outlet mall. We didn't make it to the Talbot's clearance center, but we are definitely planning another trip. Shawn and Chris watched the kids while we shopped and caught up on SEC football, golf, racing and probably every other sport. We had a great weekend.

Sorry, the sound is messed up.

Six Flags

Our Cousin Matthew came down to visit for his birthday. Madison, Matthew,Shawn and David went to the Atlanta Braves game (sorry no pictures). The next day, we all went to Six Flags. The kids had a great time and even got on a "big" ride or two. Logan's favorite part was Thomas land which included a ride on Thomas.
