Yankee Stadium
We decided to visit Yankee Stadium before it is torn down next year. The new stadium is being built right next door, so we were able to see the old and the new. Our tour of the stadium included the Press Box, Memorial Park, the Field, Dugout, and the Clubhouse. Everyone had a great time. We took a picture of 3rd Base (which Madison says will be where Uncle Cody plays someday.
While Daddy was out of town
Shawn headed to Mississippi on Tuesday for a little golfing with the guys. So while he was gone, we enjoyed playing at the park, going to the PwC Softball game and then a little relaxing shopping for Kim (with Logan in tow). On Saturday, we pulled out the Teepee from the basement and the kids played all day in it.
Sunday Afternoon
It was a pretty day, so we went outside to play after lunch. Logan is working on his baseball skills (Uncle Cody would be proud) and Madison is perfecting riding on her scooter.
Surprise Visit from Mimi and Lynn
Mimi and Lynn surprised me with a visit on my Birthday and tickets to see Grease on Broadway on Friday night. They were at the house when I got home from work on Thursday. My Birthday was complete with balloons, flowers, streamers, hats, cake, cupcakes, and presents. On Friday, the girls, went to NYC for some shopping, eating and a show. We had a great visit. On Saturday, Shawn and I went out to dinner, while Lynn and Mimi kept the kids. On our way out the door, Madison got a brush stuck in her hair and 2 hours later, Mimi and Lynn finally got it out. Thanks!!
