Don't we look cute!

Easter Sunday!

We started our day with a visit from the Easter Bunny, then headed to church. We made cookies this afternoon and then spent sometime outside. Madison decided today was the day to take the training wheels off of her bicycle. She did great! Only 1 major spill that brought tears. Logan thought he should be big enough to ride, but he decided he was OK with the wagon.

For the Birds!

Feeding the birds in Central Park. Chasing the birds in Central Park.

American Museum of Natural History

We all went into the city to the museum on Friday. We took the train, then the subway up to the museum. The museum was great and it had something that everyone enjoyed. Logan loved the big halls with the various animals. Anything that even remotely looked like a deer, he called a deer. Madison liked the Cosmic Collision planetarium show. Andy and Matthew liked the Dinosaur exhibits (skeltons) and also the IMAX show. Shawn liked the butterfly exhibit, where you walked through a room full of live butterflies. The kids thought that it was way to hot for them to stay in there for very long. I liked the ocean exhibit where you could walk between the 2 story exhibits and see all sorts of ocean creatures and the life size whale that hung in the middle of the room.

Cousins came this week!

This week, we enjoyed a visit from Mimi, Lynn, Ally, Andy and Matthew. Madison still had school all week, but the kids enjoyed playing in the afternoon. Mimi went to Little Gym with Logan on Wednesday and all of the big kids went to the movies in the afternoon. Lynn found a Imagination Play Area in the next town over that they went to on Thursday. Logan loved the real motorcycle, car, fire truck, boat and lots more stuff. We will definitely be going back. While all of this was occurring, I left on Tuesday to go to London for a business meeting. It was a quick trip, but I enjoyed it. I went to Paddington Station, which is where the story of Paddington Bear originated. I got back late on Thursday night and on Friday we all went into New York City to the American Museum of Natural of Natural History.

Logan loves his hat

He will probably be wearing his red hat during the summer if he has his way.

Finally - A Hair Cut!

Art and Science Fair

Tonight was the Art and Science Fair at School. Madison was very proud of her art work and the class science project on Seasons!

Logan loves his new Bus!

Dr. Seuss Week!

This week Madison's school is celebrating Dr. Seuss Week. Monday was Cat in the Hat Day! Wednesday was wacky Wednesday (dress wacky).

Fun Fair at School

The Saturday was the Fun Fair at Madison's School. It was suppose to be last weekend, but got postponed due to snow. Madison had a great time playing all of the games and dropping tickets in the basket raffle. Madison very carefully selected the baskets she was interested in winning, and luckily she won a Disney Princess basket full of stuff. She was so very excited to tell everyone what she won. Another booth that she loved along with all of the other kids (parents - not so much) was the booth where you picked a lollipop and depending on the color of stick on the bottom, you could pick a stuffed animal, book, puzzle or game (all used, donated stuff). The kids think they hit the jackpot, while parents were already trying to determine how to make toys disappear for next year (but it was a great funraiser and a good way to clean out the toyrooms). Madison and Logan both enjoyed playing with their toys when we got home. Logan loves his Thomas the train book that Madison found for him.

Opening Weekend of UT Baseball!!

While we could not make the games, we supported the team in spirit. Shawn was able to listen to the games online, while the kids cheered on Uncle Cody each time he was up to bat. I think by the time we make the games in April, a new little fan will be saying "Go Vols".
