What we did today! Sledding!

Yesterday we had seven inches of snow and then last night we had some freezing rain on top of that. Therefore the roads and such were iced over this morning, but perfect for sledding.

Annual Traditions

There are a couple of annual tradtions at the Gordon Household that I don't ever remember a Christmas that they did not occur. One - Decorating Mom and Dad's Christmas tree as a family. This was probably the latest that the tree ever went up, since Mom & Dad waited till we got home on the 20th from New Jersey. Second - Annual family pictures in front of the newly decorated Christmas tree. Third - Cookie Decorating and Baking. It is wonderful to look back at pictures from years before and see how the family has grown and how quickly the tree gets decorated with 7 extra pairs of hands. On the other hand - it now takes significantly longer to decorate cookies with the kids than it did when Lynn, Susan and I were in college. Here are a few pictures from this year.

Visit with Santa #2

We went to visit Santa again along with the Reindeer.

Our Nana

We went to Knoxville for the holidays to spend some time with our family. During the holidays, we lost Nana (our grandmother and great grandmother). She passed away on Monday, December 22nd. While she will be missed greatly, we know that she is watching over us from Heaven. Here is one of our latest pictures of her with her Seven great grandchildren.
